Demetrius Navarro
President

Demetrius has over twenty years of experience in the life and health insurance profession. He is a native Texan and attended The University of Texas at Austin. Demetrius started his insurance career in 1985 with Cigna Individual Financial Services. This position provided a platform in marketing, sales, service, development and implementation of financial planning strategies to high net worth individuals, business owners, corporate executives and retirees. This lead to the development and entrée into the employee benefits arena. Demetrius continued to grow and develop his position as a leader in the marketplace of estate/key-man, buy-sell planning in conjunction with comprehensive executive/employee benefits. Navarro Insurance Group continues to provide the highest quality of service, research, development and enhancement to their current client base. Sam Pineda
Broker

Sam recently joined the team at Navarro Insurance Group as an ancillary and voluntary product specialist.  He has been in the insurance industry for over eight years, and his area of expertise lies in the administration of lines of coverage including hospitalization, cancer, travel etc.  Sam is a key asset to Navarro Insurance Group due to his ability to conduct enrollment meetings especially for employers who have a need for bilingual presentations.  As a native Houstonian, Sam is a tireless mentoring advocate for the advancement of educational and business development incentives.  As such, he is a familiar face with the Hispanic non-profit and business community.  Along with this, he is an active participant in TAMACC (Texas Association of Mexican America Chambers of Commerce), and enjoys volunteering his time in assisting at risk youth by sharing his passion on the importance of helping people. Elizabeth Downey
Group Products Specialist

Elizabeth began her insurance career over fifteen years ago working part time for a group insurance brokerage firm while attending school. Due to her dedication and commendable work ethics, Elizabeth turned this part time job into a full time career. In the summer of 1995, Elizabeth began working with Demetrius Navarro. Elizabeth's knowledge of corporate benefits expanded even more with the relationships she established with numerous clientele and insurance carrier representatives. Elizabeth's role is to assist with the marketing, client relations and employer presentations, which is a vital part of Navarro Insurance Group's commitment to professional and personal attention to our client base. Selena Ables
Individual Products Specialist

Selena started her insurance career in 1999.  She obtained Bachelor's degree in Psychology and is working towards her Master’s.  Initially employed as a receptionist, Selena has since taken on the responsibilities of technical support and office administration.  In addition to this, she was promoted to assist Demetrius with the individual health and life insurance marketing area that includes estate planning, implementation of individual life insurance policies along with long term care and disability lines of coverage.  Selena’s interest in learning the insurance industry has assisted her to better serve the clients and integrate this skill into a profession.  She is a vital asset to our organization and we look forward her having a long and lasting career with Navarro Insurance Group.  Selena spends her free time working with various community charities and spending time with her friends and family. Suzanne Johnson
Accountant

Suzanne Johnson, joined Navarro Insurance Group in 1999, providing us with general bookkeeping and accounting duties, office management, systems analyst and banking.
